Our Mission Statement

Who are we?

maxess systemhaus is the competence centre for IT solutions in retail. We currently have 57 employees who successfully realise innovative projects for renowned retail companies. We emphasise looking to the future. This is why we were an initiator and founding member of the MoveRetail® cooperation.

What do we do?

We offer our customers solutions that are customised for retail and its special needs. Our product range includes x-trade suite, a merchandise management system with integrated warehouse controlling, decentralised merchandise management system and data warehouse, developed specifically for retail, as well as QlikView, Business Intelligence . These products are supplemented by a broad range of services: x-consult comprises consulting and complete project support, while x-service stands for integrated system services.

What differentiates us from other companies?

maxess systemhaus is the provider that understands processes holistically and in detail as a result of its origins and its focus on retail. Accordingly, we offer our customers proven and efficient IT solutions at all levels of the value chain. Through constant contact with the grocery retail industry and the further expansion of our retail competence centre, maxess systemhaus will continue to guarantee state-of-the-art solutions in the future.

How do we view our employees?

Our employees are the foundation of our company. We can only achieve our goals on the strength of our motivated, qualified and trained employees.

What values do we hold dear?

It is important to us to offer our customers clean development work. Our support is characterised by commitment and an attitude of partnership. We also promote constructive teamwork and a good working climate. We value technical advancement, competence and quality.

Who are our customers?

Our customers are retail companies. Based on our experience, we currently primarily serve companies handling a full range of grocery products. But our target group increasingly encompasses other industries as well.

What does customer orientation mean to us?

We offer customers professional solutions and expert, personal consulting by regular contact persons. We engage in team-building measures at the start of a project to promote cooperation based on trust. We work very closely with our customers with a partnership attitude. Our work is characterised by a high degree of transparency for the customer. We present various solution approaches as quickly as possible and offer a very good price/value ratio in the realisation of projects. Thanks to our comprehensive retail know-how, we understand the problems and wishes of retail companies, and we speak their language.

How do we view our suppliers and partners?

The quality of our suppliers is of great importance for customer satisfaction. For this reason, we select our suppliers carefully and make them strategic partners. We also form development partnerships and integrate them into projects. Our partners include Salomon Automation, Superdata, POS Systemhaus, Remira Informationssysteme, Dell and IBM Germany. In the area of research and development, we work with the renowned Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster (Prof. Becker) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering IESE (Prof. Rombach).
